When you sign up and build a site with us, we collect:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not run third-party ads on our portal.
To deliver the service, we share specific data with the following providers:
Handles all payment processing. They receive: your name, email, billing address, and card details. Stripe privacy policy.
Generates the AI copy used to draft your site's text. We send: the business information you typed (name, services, niche, etc.) so it can write relevant copy. Anthropic does not use this to train their models. Anthropic privacy policy.
Sends our outbound emails to you (build notifications, receipts, customer-team replies). We send your email address and message content. Google privacy policy.
Our infrastructure provider. They host the servers your site is built on. They do not process your data themselves. DigitalOcean privacy policy.
On our marketing pages (not the portal, partner pages, website previews or customer sites) Google Analytics counts visits and which pages lead to an enquiry. Google receives your IP address, browser and device details and the pages you view. Google signals and ad personalization are off. Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland are counted without cookies. Google privacy policy.
On the same marketing pages, PostHog shows us how visitors use them (clicks, scrolling and screen recordings) so we can improve them. Everything typed into a form is hidden from the recordings. PostHog is not used for visitors from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, or when your browser sends Do Not Track. PostHog privacy policy.
If you reach us through a fivedaylaunch partner's link, or type a partner's referral code in one of our forms, that partner sees the details you sent in the form (your name, business, email, phone and what you asked for) and the status of your enquiry, so they can follow the leads they brought. Partners agree to use these details only for that.

Our own cookies are: fdl_portal_token, which keeps you signed in to the portal; fdl_vid, a random visitor id that lets us count visits to our pages (kept one year); fdl_pref, which remembers a partner's referral code for 90 days when you arrive through a partner's link, so our forms can show it; and fdl_ref, which does the same for 30 days when a customer refers you. On our marketing pages, fdl_ft remembers how you first arrived (the campaign tags in the link, the site that sent you and the page you landed on) for 90 days, so an enquiry can say where it came from; it is not set for visitors from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland or when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. fdl_internal marks our own team's browsers so our visits are left out of our counts. On our marketing pages only, Google Analytics sets _ga cookies and PostHog stores a random visitor id in a cookie and your browser's local storage (see Third parties). No advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, PostHog or similar tools on the portal.
The service is intended for business owners. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we materially change this policy, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and we'll post the change here.
